This one is interesting to look back on, this film was another high school production, that I created with a team of classmates in our short film class. They largely created the story, about a young lady who wants to be a vigilante, and help another young lady in a desperate situation. This short film deals with some heavy adult themes, including addiction, abuse, and trafficking. Please keep in mind this film was made by children--we were all in high school when we made it!!
I edited the short film, and was present during all of the filming, co-directing with my classmates. I think everyone did a really good job on it, and the idea for the film was profound. We wanted it to be a dark comedy, however looking back on it, I see it more as a drama, thriller, or horror of sorts, as it isn't really a happy film. There are funny moments to relieve tension, however the overall message of the short is dark.
